MY PANGEA
Arcadia A85
26.5m - 109GT

Maintenance Overview

MY Pangea has benefited from an extensive maintenance and refit program since joining our management service in autumn 2023, with a strong focus on propulsion, machinery reliability, systems integrity and onboard comfort.

In 2023/2024, major corrective works were carried out on the propulsion line to eliminate vibrations, including factory machining alignment of shafts and propellers, installation of additional shaft supports, replacement of bushings, seals and new engine silent blocks and full system realignment. Significant engine room works included replacement of corroded raw water pipes, generator servicing, fuel tank resealing, bow thruster complete overhaul and structural repairs to the sewage tanks. The yacht also underwent extensive superstructure paint works (grey parts) and technical maintenance of most engine room components like seacocks, strainers, gangway, air conditioning, electrical systems and safety equipment.

Interior works addressed carpentry, doors, mirrors, sliding doors systems, appliances, sanitary systems and general comfort upgrades. Tender, tender lift and SeaBobs were fully serviced. Safety and flag compliance were maintained through fire-fighting inspections, life raft and life saving appliances servicing and radio certification.

In 2024/2025, the maintenance program focused on preventive and heavy mechanical works. Both generators underwent a complete overhaul to zero hours.

Main engines and gearboxes received annual service. Fuel tanks were emptyed, cleaned and fully resealed using custom hydrocarbon-resistant gaskets and grey/black water tanks were structurally repaired. Electrical, navigation, anchoring, air conditioning, plumbing, and safety systems were further upgraded. Additional extraordinary works in 2025 included watermaker membrane replacement, automation upgrades, bilge and tender system overhauls and full pre-charter mechanical checks.

Overall, MY Pangea presents as a yacht that has been technically maintained, mechanically upgraded and kept at a high standard.

The yacht is currently undergoing a further winter maintenance cycle, aimed at optimising performance, reliability and comfort for the 2026 charter season.
